While posturing herself in front of the camera for a photo session, the sign of talent was reflected from her face and gestures.  Her feature and the postures she maintained showed that she was not unfit for the tele serials. This is the reason that most of her days are spent in front of the  movie camera these days acting on the role she is given.  Born and brought up in Shantipur, Ilam she had least imaged that one day she would get such opportunity working for the big screen and the television and earn fame?  But what can one do if luck or the persistence pays.  The fruit of both  of these are glittering in her life in her life these days.

 Entering in the film career in 2062 BS and acting successfully for tele-serial “Aparadha” her demand increased.  She performed in Yatana  tele-serial  a daughter of Umesh Nath Aryal and Deepashri Niraula. This character polished her acting skill further. Then she performed in ‘Madan Bahadur, Hari Bahadur-2’,  ‘Aama-2’,  ‘Jantar’, ‘Jiwan Chakra’, ‘Nata’ , ‘Tito Satya’,  ‘ Kasto Pagal’, and many more as leading character.  Her journey as an actress from small screen gradually led her to big screen.  Gradually she acted having major characters in the  big screen in the films ‘Janayuddha’ , ‘Maryo Ni Maya le Maryo’, ‘ Jangali Maya’ ‘Bir Putra’.  Sharpening her acting skill  as a commander in ‘Janayuddha’ and as a handicapped in ‘ Maryo in Maya Le Maryo’  she has brilliantly played as a Nepali sister (girl)  sold  in the brothel in Upendra Timilsinha’s ( Shobhite) film ‘Relation’.  Just a moment.  These are not enough. She has performed in twenty music video films, three documentaries, and three short films. These days ‘Beautiful’ Gita is not only busy playing in the films ‘but also   she having built her relation with Sai Devotee Sanjay Sai Baba has started delving into the spirituality.  The girl born in Ilam has been able to identify herself as prominent acting figure.

 

Holding a graduate degree Gita the time for the nuptial knot has not arrived yet. She has accepted this fact that time has not come yet.  Living in the busy city of Kathmandu valley she has worried about the society and the country.  She has suggested the leaders to promulgate the constitution immediately and stop spending money on unimportant matters.  She suggests the young generation savouring the taste of modernity has to focus their mind seriously in education, disciple and spiritual quest.  Being immersed in the acting career, she has promised to convey her message through her performances in the films ahead. She told that would build a temple in her place of birth and thus enter into the social work.
